The previous entry was about cheap merienda fare at the Harrison Plaza Mall. Yesterday, while strolling at Market! Market! in the Global City, I came across Pot Dog. I had seen this booth over at the Fil-Expo Negosyo a few months ago. If I remember right, the franchise cost is in the area of 200,000 pesos ($3800) I checked out the prices and they looked very affordable. Maybe because one is paying processed starch and flavors. There was an array of crab egg, seafood veggie, shark fin siomai, seafood combi, crab claw, lobster ball, kikiam. Each order costs around 30 pesos per order and as low as 10 pesos. I tried their cuttlefish balls for 22 pesos (3 balls) which was very flavorful and greasy. But it can nevertheless satisfy your hunger pangs. Not bad. It’s not something I will eat on a weekly basis. Just another food indulgence and experimentation. But hey, this is a great business opportunity.
