rolled shrimp
I should start writing about that food tasting event. In one of these events, I found the rolled shrimp an innovative way of preparing “lumpia shanghai” (fried spring rolls). Inside the crispy wrapper, one can taste the shrimp meat with ground pork around it. Usually, “lumpia shanghai” is made by a combination of ground pork, minced onion, carrots, spices and with the mixture held together by beaten egg. The shrimp roll tastes good if you dip it in sweet chili sauce.
