Suman eaten on its own is already good as it goes. But when you fill it with langka, mango, tsokalate, saging and more, it’s a different experience. Bud-bud Kabog sells flavored suman such as suman luya, suman tsokolate, suman langka, suman mangga, suman biko. They are priced at 20 pesos each except for the suman mangga at 25 pesos.

It’s quite addicting and filling to eat. We bought 8 pieces of suman for the kids to eat and they were all devoured within 2 hours.

I found a recipe for traditional budbud kabog but I wonder if it’s the same as the suman made by “Bud-bud Kabog”

You can always buy “Bud-bud Kabog” suman at the Salcedo Community market, Leviste St., Makati every saturday mornings.

This is somewhat like the suman I have tasted before, They are the Suman of Titalynns found in Tiendesitas. She has by the way a website http://www.dhavest.com/titalynns. They also have different flavors like the ones you posted above. Hmm.. couldn’t wait to taste them too..
