Thursday Nov 30, 2006

krispy kreme manila
After all that buzz marketing in food blogs and corporate offices, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts opens today in Manila. Today, November 30 is the launching day for Krispy Kreme at the City Center, Global City, Taguig. What a crowd. The night before there was already a group that camped out. By the time I arrived, it was 6:30 AM. I think I was the 200th customer in line . The Events Organizer did a great job with entertaining the tired and hungry crowd. There was a bayanihan number and a music group that uses garbage bins as instruments. By 7:30 AM, they announced the winners of the raffle prizes for 1 month, 3 month and half year supply of Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
