My daughter was dying to taste these mouth-watering cupcakes that had been blogged about by popular food bloggers. Just before arriving , I was thinking "A cupcake is a cupcake" but at the back of my mind, I knew that a cupcake reinvention was at place. I just had to taste it for myself. Parking at the Serendra Piazza proved to be difficult but we found our way to the side road. Once you enter the bakeshop, the sweet aroma entices you to grab the first cupcake . The retro decor and a homey atmosphere makes you feel you are at the neighborhood store where one can just hang out anytime.
My daughter said the place is open from 3:00 PM till 10:00 PM. Cupcakes are baked in the morning. The best time to buy cupcakes is during opening time where more variety is available. As my other daughter placed her order, I was surprised at the high prices ranging from 48 pesos to 130 pesos. We ordered 12 pieces with a total price tag of 722 pesos. These cupcakes be better worth it , I thought. The box and the art cupcakes added to the premium. It reminds me of the price range of cheesecakes and pies. My daughter ordered Chocolate Surprise (62 pesos) , Red Velvet Vixen (65 pesos), Bunny Huggers Carrot Cake (55 pesos), Peppermint Patty (68 pesos), Chocolate Cream Pie (98 pesos), Valrhona Milk Chocolate-Hazelnut Tart (65 pesos), Berries and Cream (75 pesos) and Vanilla Sunshine (48 pesos).
