I need to satisfy my craving for empanada. Maybe I’ll visit the stall at Tiendesitas. I’ll try to cook empanada this weekend.

Yes masarap din un okoy nila. But if you happen to visit Ilocos, drive down to Norte and try Magicblend Empanada at the Mariano Marcos Hospital ib Batac. Really good!!

Vigan Empanadas taste good. Also if you happen to visit Ilocos Norte, Magicblend Empanada and their half cooked pinakbet is a must try food. Located at pay park area of Mariano Marcos Medical Center Batac. And when you are in Tuguegarao try batil patong, Isabela pansit cabagan. Masasarap!!!

me too.. i can’t find the empanada stall in mall of asia .. oohh .. i really miss going to vigan .. i miss the food there!

Careful with these stalls. Flies (langaw) are part of the filling. I got one in Mall of Asia. No kidding!

Mac’s Deli Original Vigan empanada and okoy at Tiendesitas and SM Mall of Asia are the best. I am an Ilokano and they surely taste better than the ones I’ve tasted at the Vigan Plaza de Salcedo. My friends in Manila even say that you don’t have to go to Vigan anymore because Mac’s Deli provides the best Vigan delicacies like the empanada, okoy, bagnet, longanisa and sukang iloko. Surely there is no comparison to the others being sold here in Metro Manila. Furthermore, Mac’s Deli has always been featured on t.v, newspapers, magazines and even the PAL Travel Magazine. I saw them at Unanag Hirit, Magandang Umaga Pilipinas, !00% Pinoy, and just recently at Ang Pinaka show of Pia Guanio, QTV11, where they were ranked on the Top 3 of Regional Delicacies found in the City. Way to go Mac’s Deli! May you increase your branches so you may reach out to more Filipinos craving for these very delicious, mouth-watering foods. More power!
