I was just dying for my Kopi Roti Fix. Luckily, the kids wanted one too.
Kopi Roti , is an exciting new concept in the art of enjoying coffee blended to perfection. Not only do they blend coffee the Asian way, they also know how to price it at a reasonable cost. I know why they wanted their fix. They have been dying to munch on the Kopi Roti bun, a soft bun with butter inside topped with coffee flavored soft & crisp cookie.

Looking at their set packages of specialties, the kids selected the coffee with Kopi Roti Buns priced at an affordable price of 75 pesos. Now how can Starbucks beat that price.

The Kopi is brewed the traditional Singaporean way where the ground coffee passes through a sieve with boiling water onto a layer of condensed milk at the bottom of the mug. Such an interplay of black and white. The kopi types are the Kopi C or Tea C, which means coffee or tea respectively. The Kopi O or Tea O is simply black coffee or plain tea.
You can see the layer of condensed milk that serves as creamer and sweetener is placed at the bottom of the coffee.

Lauren shows the butter inside the Kopi Roti Bun. Dipping the bun in her coffee, I hear her say “if only this were nearer the schools. This is a good place to hang out and study”.

My favorite though is the hot chocolate drink. It reminds me of the Cebuano “Tablea” with the right amount of sweetness.
The two sets of Kopi C with a Kopi Roti Bun for the girls plus my hot chocolate drink costs only 200 pesos.
