The Starbucks Planner 2008 is out. My daughter got hold of her new Starbucks Planner two days ago with the help of her classmates. Imagine completing 24 stickers just to get the planner. It’s not cheap mind you. The starbucks featured Christmas beverage costs 145 pesos for a small cup.
How does one get the Starbucks planner?
Well you need to fill in 24 stickers as follows:
- - Praline Mocha Favorites
(hot iced or Frapuccino Blended Beverage) - Peppermint Mocha Favorites
(hot iced or Frapuccino Blended Beverage) - Toffee Nut Favorites
(hot iced or Frapuccino Blended Beverage)
1. 12 stickers of Starbucks featured Christmas beverages
2. 12 Starbucks beverage of your choice
(except: bottle beverages, bottle water and fruit juices not included)
The difference with the 2008 Starbucks Planner is that this year, the planner is not as bulky as the 2007 Starbucks Planner.

The paper is much thinner and so with the cover. It’s not hardbound anymore. Instead of a pen, one gets a pencil. I believe Starbucks wanted to cut production cost.

It’s still worth spending on all those drinks if it’s done once a year anyway. I never buy Starbucks because it is expensive. On the purchase of your 24th beverage, a donation will be given in your name to project SparkHope. Deadline for the redemption is January 5, 2008.

I think it’s nuts to spend that much money for a planner. But I like that Starbucks does a lot of giving back to the community.
