superbowl of china at trinoma

Every time I go to a restaurant, I usually order the same thing I had the last time I was there. It’s a food association thing–when I’ve had a delicious meal or outstanding dish at a certain place, I end up associating that restaurant with that dish. Superbowl of China is a Chinese place I’ve been to several times and each time I go there, I always have lemon chicken and yang chow fried rice. I was pleasantly surprised when they prepared those two and fish fillet for the Trinoma Blogger Food Tour.

The sweet, tangy sauce of Superbowl’s lemon chicken is what I like best about this dish. Made out of real lemons, the sauce complements the subtle saltiness of the yang chow fried rice, making this the perfect combination.

I’m not a big fan of fish dishes because a lot of them have this oily aftertaste to them that begs to be washed out with water.  The fish fillet at Superbowl, however, didn’t have that fishy aftertaste and was moist enough to eat on its own, without any sauce.

The lemon chicken and fish fillet cost approximately 230 pesos while the yang chow fried rice costs around 180.  All three dishes are good for three to four people. Superbowl at Trinoma is located in the third floor outdoor restaurant area.
