I have never watched Ysabella, the latest ABS-CBN teleserye which stars Judy Ann Santos and her real life partner, Ryan Agoncillo, together with model turned actor Derek Ramsey. In this delightful romantic drama, the heroine is a cook who aspires to be a renowned chef and get back at the woman responsible for her mother’s early death and even stole her mother’s secret recipe of a flavorful and mouthwatering chicken dish, “Kinasal na Manok”.
ABS-CBN awarded the exclusive rights to Bacolod Chicken Inasal to serve Ysabella’s Chicken as part of its menu for the public to enjoy. Ysabella’s Chicken is a lightly fried chicken dish that has a distinct flavor that comes from native herbs and spices.
I got introduced to Ysabella’s Chicken during the Trinoma Bloggers’ Food Tour. Funny how I knew of the teleserye through Bacolod Chicken Inasal. And what can I say? It tastes like the usual Chicken Inasal. Nothing unusual. It even tastes quite salty to me. Priced at P149, the chicken is bundled with garlic rice, gravy, grilled onions and tomatoes.

Is it true that Ysabella’s chicken that we have seen in the tv is the same chicken and recipe that Bacolod Chicken Inasal served to his customer?
I have tried this cuisine and it so delicious.
@DJ Cruz- The recipe of Ysabella’s Chicken was especially formulated and is different from the Chicken Inasal. That’s what the manager explained to me.

It’s not only Ysabella’s chicken is yummy in Bacolod Chicken Inasal, I’ve tried their other dishes and i love it!!!!
