Trinoma Dessert Haven

Woo! Another gastronomic event entitled TriNoma Dessert Haven!. Yehey together with Trinoma free gave a few bloggers a guided taste fest of the [tag]TriNoma Dessert Haven[/tag]. And what an absolute delight it was!

The gastronomic delights are located at the 3rd level, TriNoma Park and started last February 21-24 and February 28 to March 2 and will continue this March 6-9 and March 13-16, 2008. It features desserts from Dulcelin, CakeBiz, Must be Moms, Sugarhouse, Russian Cookie House, St. Clements Kitchen, Unit 16 Sweets, Gigi La Crepe, Katlyn’s Kitchen, Fleur de Lys, Swell Sweets and more.

So far my favorites are:

1. Triple Chocolate Brownies by Heaven in a Box at 20.00 a piece or 180 pesos per 10 pieces. Now that’s affordable.

These brownies are the best tasting ever and I found out that they use three types of chocoloate.

2. Mango Torte

This is the house specialty of Dulcelin Gourmet Specialties. Cirspy-chewy nougatine with golden mango and cream. A 9 inch plate is 530 pesos while 12 inches place s 800 pesos.

3. Ensaymada from Must be Mom’s

Oh these bite-sized ensaymaditas is their best-seller. Available flavors are cheddar cheese, queso de bola, ube and dulce de leche!

I have more favorites but I will feature each of them in separate blog entries together with their contact numbers. Most of these featured desserts are not sold in Trinoma so you have to explore these desserts at the Trinoma Dessert Haven before March 16. The good news is you get to taste a sample even before you buy a box or two.
