Whenever I travel to other countries, there are two things that I MUST try out no matter what: their local cigarettes and their best beer. Unfortunately I don’t have the money to go around the world sampling beer and cigarettes. Hell, I haven’t even been to Europe yet. European beers are available in specialty bars in Makati but not only are they a little too expensive for my tastes; they’re also populated with expatriates and the last thing I want to be mistaken for is a mail order bride waiting for her white husband.
