Maybe it’s not the healthiest breakfast in the world, but I love the idea of having chocolate fondue first thing in the morning. I just discovered the chocolate fondue at Max Brenner’s in Greenbelt and I think I like it better than the one in the Mandarin Hotel because it comes with not just one, but two kinds of chocolate – milk chocolate and white chocolate.
The fun in eating the chocolate fondue at Max Brenner’s is figuring out which fruits go best with which kind of chocolate. For instance, marshmallows with white chocolate is a little too sweet, but it tastes just right when dipped in milk chocolate. Bananas in milk chocolate feel like a party in my mouth, while chocolate brownies in white chocolate is just pure heaven.

I have never been a fan of chocolate fondue. I get icky about mixing fruits with chocolate. But I would have to say that Max’s one is quite good.
