The food invite for the Pinoy Food Photo blog said:
Join us in an intimate gathering as we journey through a food odyssey like no other. Experience a rainbow of joy, as you dine and share your stories with a cup of Lipton Milk Tea. The many surprises that await you will surely leave your tummy delighted!
I love Lipton Milk Tea and I have no second thoughts in checking out their “Rainbow of Joy” Food tour.
The problem was it was my son’s 8th death anniversary and I usually cook dinner at home. But who says I can’t break with the tradition? The good news was that I could bring my family along. I remembered the rainbow 8 years ago after the burial of my son which brought a little smile to my face. Surely the Lipton Milk Tea will bring more smiles to my family on this very special day.
At the last minute, my husband felt ill but my mind was set to celebrate dinner outside my home for a change of scenery. Lauren, Marielle and I made our way to Greenbelt 5 and see what Lipton had in store for us.

Who says you have to make the 8-hour journey to Baguio to experience authentic Cordillera hot chocolate? If you’re craving for Filipino hot chocolate, all you need to do is head over to this cozy little restaurant called Choco-late de Batirol in Serendra, Fort Bonifacio. There, you can satisfy your chocolate fix by ordering a cup of their hot chocolate prepared the good old fashioned Pinoy way.
I am pleased to announce that Asia is to get its first truly independent restaurant guide with the inaugural Miele Guide, the 2008/2009 edition, slotted for release at the end of October 2008.

country, city and cuisine.

There is no shortage of Chinese restaurants in the Philippines, but they’re not as consistent and neither are they located on every other street corner the way Chow King is. Chow King has always been one of my favorite fast food joints. Not only is a Chow King restaurant incredibly easy to find when I’m craving for congee or noodle soup; they’ve got efficient service, very affordable prices, and food that tastes like real food instead of chemical fastfood junk.

Rice, as we all know, is a staple in Filipino cuisine and until Kanin Club at Paseo de Sta. Rosa, Laguna, I haven’t encountered a restaurant whose main focus is rice and the many different ways you can cook it. Sure, there are those fast food kiosks that serve all sorts of rice dishes, but going to those places is an eat-and-run affair; they don’t offer the same honey, restaurant atmosphere Kanin Club has.

Half an ounce a meat a day; just one big bite– that’s the amount of red meat it takes to apparently double your chances of contracting cancer. Filipinos already know that fish is healthy but kids won’t normally eat fish because of the fishy taste. No matter how they create and re-create fish dishes, kids still won’t eat them. Therefore it is the responsibility of mothers to be creative to let their kids enjoy fish by offering alternative fish products that are palatable for kids.
This you have to try because I tested it on my own kids. The Everyday Fish Processed Products from Fisher Farms.
The Everyday Fish Ham, bacon, hotdog, luncheon and sausage are made from 100% fish meat and specially formulated that one can’t even discern the fishy taste. Even meat lovers like my children can’t tell it’s fish products.

I’ve never been to a fish farm until a recent visit to Fisher Farms in Sual, Pangasinan. It’s no surprise that Fisher Farms is known across three continents not only for its assortment of wholesome fish products but for its stringent adherence to global quality standards.
