Portico 1771 is the restaurant that we chose to celebrate our
23rd wedding anniversary. I had the opportunity to sample a few of its culinary dishes during a food tour that I promised to come back when there is reason to celebrate.
Their baked cheese fondue topped our appetizer for the night. Made of fontina cheese, guyere cheese, cream and topped with chorizo, it was the best fondue I’ve tasted so far.

We ordered separate dishes but eventually share it among ourselves.
For my husband, he chose the baby backribs.

I chose the Salmon kebabs.

Lauren chose the Tic-Tac Prawns

We ordered Pesto Mushroom pizza for all of us to share.

Marielle chose Chicken Fusili.

Lauren’s Italian friend, Ale was just as impressed with the taste of the Pesto in the Chicken Fusili.

Everyone was so full after eating all of the above dishes that there was no more room for dessert. That didn’t stop me from ordering the house specialty dessert, Coffee Pie.

We enjoyed our meal even at the price of 3,700 pesos (including service charge) for all the above. We rarely eat out but since it’s our wedding anniversary, I thought I’d take a break from cooking dinner. Portico 1771 made our wedding anniversary celebration even more meaningful.
