If you’re in the Tagaytay area and are in the mood for a long, leisurely lunch in a quiet garden restaurant, drop by Chateau Hestia. What I like about this restaurant is that it doesn’t feel like a restaurant. Once you’re inside, you get the sense that you’re in your own home, except your home just grew a lush garden and there’s delicious, authentic European cuisine on the table in front of you.

Chateau Hestia was co-founded by Johannes Zehethofer, a Viennese native with a passion for travel, wine, and good food. He himself takes the time to personally host his diners and and explain to them his dishes and his collection of carefully-chosen wines - all in a homey, country-style environment.

Chateau Hestia is located in Lagusan Drive, Barangay Bukal, and is open on Thursdays to Sundays for lunch and dinner. For reservations and questions about their set menu, call or text at +63-929-711-3289 or +63-918-930-5372. Visit chateauhestia.com for more details.
