PMS makes me crave for the most random food at the most inconvenient times. And when I crave for something very specific to eat, the world stops until I satisfy that craving. Just this afternoon, I was in the middle of doing schoolwork when I started thinking about pizza completely out of nowhere. I did my best to ignore my craving - mainly, because I didn’t have cash at hand and was too lazy to head out and withdraw from the bank. But I had almost nothing to eat today and after a couple of minutes of trying to resist the urge to order a pizza, I finally gave in.
But how to get my hands on a box of pizza without heading out of the house? Lucky for me, I live in a day and age where you can get what you want without having to leave your chair. This afternoon, I discovered that you can have pizza delivered from Shakey’s using your Citibank credit card.
I ordered some mojo potatoes with the pizza because I know my mom likes them. It’s been a really long time since I last had any, but I distinctly remember them being more spicy and flavorful. Now mojo potatos taste a little flat and disappointing.
I didn’t know that Shakey’s already has a line of large, New York-style pizzas! I got me a New York-style Margherita - lots of warm, gooey mozerella cheese on a very tender, chewy pizza dough. The crust is slightly thicker than Yellow Cab or Brooklyn Pizza but that seems to make all the difference because I was full after one and a half slices.
Order food from Shakey’s or McDonald’s (Citibank’s Merchant Partners) and have it delivered using your Citibank Card.
shakeys is the only place in the p.i. where you can use a credit card to have it delivered to ya?
Is this something new? I never thought of this. I’ve got to eat at shakeys tonight during my break. New York style, that is!
