It is not often that I eat lunch in a coffee shop but my daughter was hungry and we still had tasks to do in Makati. “Let’s eat”, as she dragged me to Figaro, her favorite coffee shop. When I saw the steep prices of their meals, I wanted to leave the place but then again, we were hungry. I asked the waitress of their best-sellers. She pointed out “Pasta Carlo” so I got that.
Lauren got the chicken pesto sandwich paired with coffee.
I loved my Pasta Carlo so much that it inspired me to cook my own version of Shrimp and Pasta with Pesto Sauce.
Though Figaro offers high priced meals, I am glad that they offer it in generous servings leaving me satiated and happy to kiss 190 pesos good-bye!
What is your favorite dish in Figaro?
Oh, I love their chocolate cake! The one slightly similar to the Chocolate dome cake of starbucks? And of course, support our own coffee!
more importantly, support our local coffee shops right?
their grilled chicken sandwich is yummy!
