I had lunch there a couple of weeks ago. It was my 2nd time. Opted for the giant squid. Not long after I bit into a piece, a chemical taste oozed out of it. I asked a friend to try it to confirm that it had a “funny” taste. He spat the piece out and said it tasted a lot like formaline. It could be something they injected to the squid to help it retain its fluffiness and it’s common practice in restos. They took it back and apologized profusely. Gave us free dessert. But the thought of formaline made me sick.

if it’s expressing admiration or praise: it’s complImentary not complEmentary.

and that ‘fat french fries’ in fish and chips are called, well, chips! while the ‘chips’ in nachos are really nachos, hence, the name.

one more thing, lose that ‘?’ at the end of your wonderment. It’s an indirect question and as such, doesn’t need a question mark.
