Ever since I blogged about the Starbucks Planner in 2006, it’s been a tradition that my blog receives yearly searches on the new Starbucks Planner. The Starbucks Christmas Traditions started November 4 and ends on January 6, 2008. No, I haven’t gotten the 2009 Starbucks Coffee Planner but my husband decided to take a cup of Starbucks coffee at Serendra. He usually gets the Starbucks planner for me because he drinks Starbucks coffee anyway.
The 2009 Starbucks Coffee Planner is a bit more subdued and traditional. It comes in three colors (red, black and blue), thin and hardbound.
It’s simple and minimalist and looks like it can easily slip in your purse or backpack.
And like the previous Starbucks planner, there are beautiful graphics before the start of the month.
Starbucks brought back the ballpen unlike last year’s pencil which I never got to use.
Their bookmark has a starbucks emblem in it which makes a nice touch to the journal.
Instead of drowning yourself with 24 drinks, this year the holder need only to accumulate a total of sixteen (16) stickers, one sticker for any of the featured products in each category , to get one (1) Limited Edition Starbucks Coffee 2009 Planner.
The Holiday featured beverages requires 8 stickers and a choice of any of the following
1. Dark Cherry Mocha (hot, iced or Frapuccino blended beverages)
2. Toffee Nut Latte (hot, iced or Frapuccino blended beverages)
3. Praline Mocha (hot, iced or Frapuccino blended beverages)
A starbucks beverage of your choice – 8 stickers.
That means you will just be gobbling down 16 starbucks beverages.

1. how much is a short hot holiday drink? how about a short iced holiday drink?
2. does anyone have a list of frapuccino flavors for the philippines? is it the same for all stores? if im not mistaken, there are 8 coffee based, 4 cream based. if you can send me the prices as well, that would help.

Andrew- the cheapest short holiday drink is at least 135 pesos. For ordinary coffee drink, the cost is at least 80 pesos
The flavors are

All in all one needs to spend 2000 pesos to get that Starbucks planner
I’ve been crushin on the 2008 planner for a year now. and haven’t gotten one! huhu.
anyhoots, is there any way i could get one without having to go through the sticker collection stage? I am from davao and since we have no starbucks here, there is no way i can get those tickets! sad, right? thanks!
hi! i’m a philippino-american living in phoenix, arizona and guess what, i’ve been getting starbucks planner since they began offering it… in fact my favorite planner was that from 2005–coz it afforded u to put ur daily schedule.. while the newer ones couldnt be made into “strict schedule planners” as the space for daily entries is a bit tiny (at least for a full daily schedule).. i’ve used it as journals though… anyway, my question is about the space for the daily entries… do they look totally the same as last year’s??? and do they come with spiral bindings? or is it sewn??? —thanks a bunch!!!
Cool. i just hot my planner from this shop (see: pics)…and only a few drinks more for the second one. i have to admit that the 2008 planner was better though.. ^_^
btw, for those who are sick of drinking the holiday beverages, if you have filled your stickers for the core drinks, you can still order a non-holiday featured beverage and obtain a (holiday) sticker for that. just tell the barista…so you won’t have to drown yourself with praline, toffee, or hazelnut. ^_^
I’m just wondering, do they come different in every country or just in Indonesia?
cause here the look’s just like the previous one (2007,2008 planner), with leather bound, spiral bindings and exactly the same graphics (before the start of the months)in the inside as in your posting.
But they want us to collect 26 stamps (not stickers)…

I have all the stickers but did not redeem it yet because ALL the Starbucks I went to (6 of them) did not have the red or black one. Only the blue planners are available.
