Every weekend, my husband and I check our condo unit at Two Serendra and most of all the latest finds at Market! Market! and other ritzy restaurants in Serendra. I am in the lookout for Noche Buena ideas for those who don’t have the time to cook during the holidays.
One of my delightful finds is the Gingerbread House From Marta’s Cakes.

The quaint little houses added such a festive touch to their window display. Curious, I wanted to know if they actually sell Gingerbread Houses.
Good thing their staff was very nice and showed each of their Gingerbread houses.

Their cheapest Gingerbread House without embellishments cost as low as 350 pesos (not shown in photo) to as much as 2000 pesos.

It actually depends on the decorations used and the size of the house. Next cost would be around 650 pesos. Upon closer inspection, I noted that the color of the Gingerbread cookie is pale compared to the Gingerbread Men Cookies that I often bake during the Christmas Season. I can’t tell if the Gingerbread cookie taste like good old gingerbread cookie. I like Gingerbread cookies to have the right combination of ginger (not too spicy), Cinnamon and cloves.

And if you’ve seen Market Man’s Gingerbread Village, it should cost at least 38,000 pesos though I know it’s priceless. Yup, the village above is at least 38,000 pesos
So would you like to add a Gingerbread House as a table decor for your Noche Buena?
