Go with the Flow…
I am Flow Galindez, a proud Pinoy blogger who owns www.AngSawariKo.com, originally the URL was the actual title of my blog before it became ASK by Flow Galindez. I’m currently on my mid-20 and a Sagittarian working as a promo-content producer in a media company and graduated with a degree of AB Mass Communication. Blogging was one of my hobbies during college day that time I’m using Friendster and Live Journal to post anything about my life, what food I had during break time, how was the travel from home to school and the latest jargons that my friends and I coined during classes. By the way forgot to mention I posted a one paragraph or two of the movies we saw during break time at SM Manila and Robinson’s Place including the arcade games and hours of window shopping at the department store, record bars and gadgets boutiques.
In September 2007, by blog officially opened and that time it has the same content that my college blog accounts has. Until after a year everything changes, the usual personal post about my daily commuting life grows to broader topics. I was actually topic about my views on the current social issues we saw on the news, sharing my experience on the restaurants where my friends and I dine or the gadgets I was dreaming to own and voicing my advocacies about education, human rights, equality, environmental conservation and the fight to eradicate hunger and poverty. Thanks to blogging I met new friends, mentors and tormentors that tested my ability to share more on my blogs and continue learning to know more about social media and responsible posting.
ASK by Flow Galindez now tackles a wide range of topics including advocacy, entertainment, lifestyle, gadgets and technology, food, sports, and many more. My blog has 80, 000 – 90, 000+ visits month that are combinations of direct visits and referral from my social media accounts. For those who wanted to invite me for events and review products they can email me at email@example.com.
Now, I am appointed by the United Nations World Food Programme as their first Country Connector to promote their advocacy and projects online and on-ground. Aside from that I currently partnering with World Vision Philippines, Gawad Kalinga, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF-Philippines) and advocating for HIV/AIDS awareness through The Red Whistle Campaign.
