I had mentioned before that Coke Zero doesn’t taste any different from other diet sodas. But after eating out at restaurants and getting served Coke Zero because they don’t normally carry Diet Coke anymore, I developed an acquired taste for the reformulated sugarless cola drink. I still think that normal Coke tastes better than Coke Zero, but that’s already a given because sugar automatically makes anything unhealthy taste superior to its healthier counterpart.

So you’d like to go to be a part of the food service industry? Quality culinary studies is key to a successful career, as this will allow you to acquire a wide range of culinary knowledge that will give you an edge as a culinary professional or as an entrepreneur. To respond to the growing need for competent chefs and cooks overseas, different schools offer many culinary courses. Culinary Institute of Aristocrat (CIA) , a culinary school in Manila, stands out among other culinary schools in terms of their curriculum, faculty, facilities, contact hours, and course fees.
Desserts are always pretty and yummy to start with. The child in me is always in awe whenever I see plates and plates of dessert. If I had my way, I’d take a pick of all the sweetness in this dessert buffet that Diamond Hotel is offering. I have known all the time that Diamond Hotel is one of Manila’s dessert Mecca where sweet excess and wild abandon are forgiven. One of my favorite all-time desserts are their mouth-watering ensaymada.

Guess where I went for the weekend?
Imagine basking in The Farm at San Benito , the Hippocrates Health Resort of Asia doing work and relaxation at the same time. Yup, I was invited to participate in a nutrition camp sponsored by Nutrilite, the only global vitamin and mineral brand to grow, harvest and process plants on their own certified organic farms and Geiser-Maclang, Nutrilite’s PR. I was terribly excited. First of all, I love Nutrilite Vitamins. While in a short vacation to the USA in the mid-nineties, my sister introduced me to their top of the line vitamins, the Double X , a finely calibrated balance of 12 vitamins, nine minerals and 21 plant concentrates. I swear by it for the energy and vitality that I got from Nutrilite Double X.
Unfortunately even when Amway opened up its doors in the Philippines in the mid-nineties, the Nutrilite vitamins was not one of their first products. So I lost my supply of Double X.
Now the good news. Nutrilite is in the Philippines and I didn’t even know of its existence. I bet you didn’t know either. The Nutrition Camp was indeed a blessing.
Secondly, it will be my first visit to The Farm. I’ll talk more on this in another entry. For now, let me show you the wonders of being healthy and using the right vitamins and minerals for you and your family. You’ll be in for a surprise.

The food invite for the Pinoy Food Photo blog said:
Join us in an intimate gathering as we journey through a food odyssey like no other. Experience a rainbow of joy, as you dine and share your stories with a cup of Lipton Milk Tea. The many surprises that await you will surely leave your tummy delighted!
I love Lipton Milk Tea and I have no second thoughts in checking out their “Rainbow of Joy” Food tour.
The problem was it was my son’s 8th death anniversary and I usually cook dinner at home. But who says I can’t break with the tradition? The good news was that I could bring my family along. I remembered the rainbow 8 years ago after the burial of my son which brought a little smile to my face. Surely the Lipton Milk Tea will bring more smiles to my family on this very special day.
At the last minute, my husband felt ill but my mind was set to celebrate dinner outside my home for a change of scenery. Lauren, Marielle and I made our way to Greenbelt 5 and see what Lipton had in store for us.
