Coca Cola does it again with a family theme ad and this time it concerns OFW and giving happiness to their families. Watch.

More than 11 million Filipinos have left their families to find better opportunities abroad. The most difficult part of being an OFW is being apart from their families.

Joe Marie Ballon a radiologist has not seen his father (who is almost blind now ) for five years. He’d rather save his money for medicines.

Leonie Villanueva , a caregiver has not been home for nine years. She is saving her money for the home she bought in the Philippines.

Joey Doble is a baby sitter and he is all alone abroad. He hasn’t seen his youngest son for 11 years. He left him when he was only 1 year old.

Oh gosh, these stories made me tear. Three OFW’s have not seen their family for years. There is a twist to these stories when the question is raised “What if Coca Cola could give them what they want most this Christmas?”

Three stories filled with happiness.

Comments in Youtube were filled with happiness as well.

THUMBS UP!!!! Coca cola from a OFW in Dubai :)
It made me burst into tears, seeing this video
I myself have been celebrating the Holidays far from my family since 2009
and what you have done to these people is so good!!!
you guys Rock!

One said “wow…what a good marketing strategy in Social Media. I’m sure this will reach a million views.”

Though it may look exploitative because of its commercial value, it touched the lives of 3 families. This project should continue even after the Christmas season.

Where will happiness strike next? The ad says.
