I can’t believe that my last feature on the Salcedo weekend market was in the latter part of 2008. I usually update the Salcedo market every year. Using my iPhone camera (sorry for low quality photos), I explored Salcedo Market once again on this bright saturday morning. Salcedo Market is a haven for a semi-vegetarian like me and though I didn’t expect to find anything spectacular, it’s quite a feast to see variety of dishes.
I notice some stalls are still around: the crepes, the french cuisine, the sauces, the lechon.
First thing I buy is organic chunky peanut butter for 170 pesos ( or was it 180 pesos). Peanut butter is a favorite with my two girls. My nutritionist often tells me to snack my bread with peanut butter so this is a first in my list.

Pasta sauces or dips is always a favorite. I got the labahita and quesong puti sauces after getting a taste.
