Mexicans and even Filipinos are known as party animals. When I found out that “Pachanga” means to party, I just knew that La Pachanga Mexican Restaurant in suburban Missouri would be one of my favorite restaurants in my US tour. What I found fascinating is that everything seemed very authentic from the Mexican waiters to the carved chairs and the festive ambiance. La Pachanga offers a vast array of the typical Mexican dishes- tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas , burrito, roll-your-own corn tortilla tacos with fresh guacamole or a genuine chalupa or gordita. I ordered a shrimp burrito because red meat is now removed from my diet. While waiting for my order, they offered free chips and salsa. The salsa carried a delightful zest of cilantro.
